Cocoa Butter

Cocoa butter is extracted from the seeds that sit inside the cocoa bean. These seeds are fermented, dried, roasted and then pressed to produce the fat we call cocoa butter.

Cocoa butter acts as a barrier to keep the skin soft and prevent fluid loss. It is often recommended to eliminate stretch marks and other scars. Cocoa butter contains about 60% saturated fats, essential fatty acids that include stearic acid, palmitic acid and lauric acid which are rich in antioxidants that fight free radicals and also deeply moisturize the skin. Its incredibly high content of vitamin E helps with cell renewal and repairs the skin.
