Avocado oil is extracted by drying and cold pressing the fruits of the avocado tree, a tree that grows between three and four meters high in cultivated form but can rise up to 20 meters in its wild equivalent.
The oil is good for all skin types as it is a mild oil but it is especially suitable for those with slightly drier skin due to its very moisturizing and emollient properties. It contains many nutrients such as lecithin (repairs tissues and keeps the cell membrane strong), pantothenic acid (good for cell growth, protects skin and hair from damage) vitamins D and E, and omega 6 and 9. Relieves skin irritations, sunburn and makes hair shiny.
Originally, the avocado tree grows in Central America but is now grown in warm countries and areas such as Florida, Spain and Australia.
