Aloe Vera

Aloe vera is one of the most nutritious plants in the world and can store a large amount of water. In its leaves there is a viscous jelly which in addition to water contains about 200 important substances and compounds including amino acids, B vitamins, minerals and plant sterols. The plant has been used for centuries for its fantastic properties and is, among other things, highly moisture-retaining with an ability to penetrate the skin and add moisture directly to the tissue. It is known to relieve and soothe burns, stimulate new cell production and accelerate wound healing and has a natural cleansing effect.

Aloe Vera grows mainly in the drier regions of Africa, Asia, Europe and America.
