Marigold

The marigold has high levels of flavonoids, ie plant-based antioxidants that protect the cells from free radicals. The marigold helps in healing wounds by stimulating blood circulation and by adding oxygen to the treatment area, which helps the body to build new tissue. It is also used to increase the moisture in the skin and make the skin firmer. The marigold also has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties and is very soothing and mild on irritated skin. Its high levels of linolenic acid help fight acne, soften the skin and make it supple and youthful.
